Ryan D. Smith is a former NFL cornerback and Super Bowl LV Champion, drafted in the 4th round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. A Maryland native (Wise High School) and standout at North Carolina Central University, he built his career through elite competition and championship standards.

Now, Ryan is bringing that same discipline to his next chapter as the founder of Transition Performance & Fitness—an official licensed Square-Fit Pro-Boxing Studio. What is the Square-Fit Pro-Boxing method?

Square-Fit is a licensed training system built around boxing-based conditioning and performance fundamentals. At Transition Performance & Fitness, the method is applied through structured sessions designed to improve real-world performance—whether you’re preparing for sport or rebuilding your fitness.

How do I get started?

Start with a Performance Assessment. We’ll review your goals, current fitness level, and timeline, then recommend the right plan and schedule. If you’re new to training, we’ll start smart and build up safely—no ego, no guesswork.

Where are you located?

Transition Performance & Fitness training space is located in Anne Arundel County, Maryland—just outside of Annapolis. The official studio address will be announced as soon as the build-out is complete.
